My goal in art school was to learn a textured 3D effect in my paintings that would enable me to hold workshops for the vision impaired to feel and create themselves. I enjoyed one professor who enabled my exploration of realism and mixed media. I created my own effect of building up the still life objects with torn newspaper and dryer lint, yet it still had a realism edge. These are some of those works.
